At Northwest Florida State College we are more than a College, we are a community. When one of our own is in need, we rally together to lift them up. Each year, many of our students face circumstances beyond their control that threaten their continued success at NWFSC.
The NWFSC Student Emergency Fund gives us the ability to provide financial assistance for students whose basic needs and/or ability to function as a student, are in jeopardy.
While external support funds this program annually, our current need far surpasses our available resources. Many of our students receive scholarships that help pay for tuition and fees; however, the cost of housing, food, and technology to learn remotely, may make it impossible for them to stay enrolled.
Your support in the following amounts will:
● $2,500 - Assist with unexpected medical needs or lost wages
● $1,000 - Purchase a laptop
● $500 - Assist with car payments and utilities
● $100 - Purchase an e-textbook or a camera for online classes
● $75 - Provide monthly internet service for online classes
● $50 - Help a student purchase weekly groceries
● $10 - Provide a student with a meal
Thank you for considering a gift to the NWFSC Student Emergency Fund. Your support will help make it possible for Northwest Florida State College students to finish their education. Now, more than ever, your gift will help provide stability and hope during uncertain times.
