MULTICULTURAL SHOWCASE
The Multicultural Showcase is one of NWC’s largest and most anticipated campus events, bringing students, faculty, staff, and community members together each spring to experience international food prepared by students, faculty, and staff, live student performances, a silent auction (supporting the NWC Student Travel Endowment), and games and displays representing countries from around the world. Hosted by the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and several student organizations, admission to the event is intentionally free and open to the public; adult attendees may purchase an all-you-can-eat wristband to sample the food, while NWC students and children eat at no cost, allowing attendees to engage with global perspectives close to home.
Due to the continued rise in food and event-related costs, hosting the Multicultural Showcase has become increasingly expensive. Giving Day support helps us offset these costs, provide free access to students, and ensures that this long-standing campus tradition remains accessible, impactful, and sustainable for years to come.
