Northern Fund: NSU's Greatest Need

A gift to the NSU Northern Fund is the best way to support all students, faculty and staff at Northern State University. The Northern Fund provides flexible support to invest in special projects that enhance teaching, research and experiential learning at Northern State University.

Examples of investments from the NSU Northern Fund in the past include:

• Travel opportunities for students, faculty and staff
• Gifts of celebration to our graduating seniors every spring and fall
• Alumni and friends socials and engagements across the nation
• Support of the University's marketing efforts
• Scholarships, including gap scholarships to support students on the verge of not completing their education due to a financial shortage from other scholarships and loans

A gift to the NSU Northern Fund supports the overall mission of the NSU Foundation - to support the mission, vision, and values of Northern State University. These funds do not have a specific use required for spending and allow the NSU Foundation the freedom of discretionary spending as a need arises.
