Support Through the Excellence Fund
The History Department welcomes all donations and is focusing on support for the 250th anniversary of the United States. The department aims to award Semiquincentennial Scholarships to students undertaking research or engagement activities related to early U.S. history.
Additional funds will support campus events during 2026 to mark the anniversary of the nationβs founding and to consider its broader historical context and significance.
Unrestricted gifts provide sustainable, flexible funding for the areas of greatest need. This ensures the Department of History can continue to develop niche educational programs, training, and research to meet ever-changing needs through its Excellence Fund.
