The Battling Bishops Football Program celebrated its 20th anniversary last season, and the 21st year is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet! Our coaching staff brought in a strong recruiting class, with 90% of our incoming athletes hailing from right here in North Carolina. Off the field, the Bishops continue to excel academically -13 student-athletes earned President’s List honors last spring alone.
Coach Filkovski has set high expectations for his team and is eager to see the impact this talented freshman class will make as the Bishops pursue a conference run.
Recent upgrades to our football facilities have brought us closer to our ultimate goal: the construction of a dedicated football fieldhouse. This addition will not only give football student-athletes and coaches the space they need to thrive but also free up existing facilities to better serve our other teams and expand campus opportunities for events and academics.
