The School of Business & Professional Studies includes majors such as Accounting, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Criminal Justice, marketing and more! It also includes our graduate programs for Business Administration, IT Management, Criminal Justice, and Strategic Leadership.

School of Social Sciences & Teacher Education

The School of Social Sciences & Teacher Education includes majors in History, Education, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Liberal Studies.

School of Mathematics & Sciences

The School of Mathematics & Sciences includes our Biology, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Environmental Sciences majors.

School of Health Sciences | Goal: Endowed Funding for Student Research Opportunities & Faculty Professorships
The School of Health Sciences includes Nursing programs, Exercise Science, Public Health Studies, Master of Public Health, and Master of Human Performance & Sports Science. We also offer a Graduate Public Health Certificate Program.

Recent Accomplishments:

• Four undergraduate and graduate public health students and two exercise science students presented faculty-mentored research at national professional conferences, demonstrating strong engagement in scholarship and experiential learning.
• Several faculty members published peer-reviewed research articles, book chapters, and books this past year.
• The Master of Public Health (MPH) program received approval of its initial accreditation application from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), achieving official applicant status.
• Public Health programs continue to offer health-focused educational events and seminars for campus and community audiences, addressing topics such as mental health, sexual health, nutrition, physical activity, and other key public health issues.

Upcoming:

• Several exercise science and public health students are expected to present faculty-mentored research at national professional conferences, reinforcing the program’s emphasis on scholarship, experiential learning, and professional development.
• The MPH program will continue advancing through the CEPH accreditation process, including completion and submission of the required comprehensive self-study.
• The PBH and MPH programs are experiencing strong growth, with the upcoming fall cohort projected to be the largest in its history.
• The NUR program is experiencing strong growth, with 29 students in the upcoming fall cohort.
• Undergraduate and graduate public health programs will continue offering on-campus and virtual health education initiatives, including the Lunch and Learn Series for Health.

School of Humanities

The School of Humanities includes our English, Communication, Entertainment Arts, Music Production, and Religious Studies majors. We also offer courses in Theatre and Media Arts as part of our Humanities programming.
