Rural Works!: Bridging Talent and Community

Join the Park Scholarships Class of 2027 Legacy Committee as we support Rural Works!, an NC State program dedicated to strengthening North Carolina's rural communities. Our goal is to raise $9,000 to empower at least three students to serve communities in need.

What Your Support Makes Possible:

Rural Works! bridges the gap between talented undergraduate students and high-impact internships in underserved areas, especially in critical healthcare fields. Together, we create opportunities that deliver immediate and lasting impact:

  • Students gain hands-on experience that builds skills for success in healthcare and beyond.
  • Interns earn essential clinical hours, paving the way for future graduate studies and professional growth.
  • Rural communities receive fresh support, helping address urgent healthcare needs and fueling local economies.

This is what forward momentum looks like: students and communities rising together, united by a shared vision for a healthier, stronger North Carolina.

We are uniting to build a bridge between student potential and community prosperity. Your contribution helps create lasting change, empowering the next generation of leaders while uplifting communities across North Carolina. Together, we can ensure that the work we do here prepares communities everywhere for success.

Support Rural Works! and help us shape a brighter future for all.

Funds will be placed in the Career Development Center Enhancement Fund. If the project does not meet its fundraising goal, receives more funds than needed, or cannot be completed, the funds will be used for the overall enhancement of the Career Development Center. Gifts are received by the NC State University Foundation, Inc. and may be distributed to an affiliated foundation that manages the fund supported by the donor.
