About the Landscape Architecture Program at North Carolina A&T State University
The Landscape Architecture Program at North Carolina A&T State University empowers a diverse student body to become visionary leaders in sustainable design, community-centered planning, and environmental justice. As the only HBCU in the nation offering an accredited degree in Landscape Architecture, our program equips students with the theoretical, technical, and ethical foundations to address today’s most pressing ecological and social challenges.
Through hands-on learning, exposure to global cultures, and an emphasis on critical and creative thinking, students are prepared to make meaningful impacts—especially in historically underrepresented communities. One of our most transformative opportunities is sending students to the annual American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) National Conference, where they can network with industry professionals, present their research, and explore career pathways.
Your gift will help establish an annual fund to support rising seniors' participation in this experience, ensuring equitable access to professional development and continued excellence in landscape architecture.
