WHAT IS DAY OF GIVING? Day of Giving is a 24-hour community giving campaign in which the entire Norfolk Collegiate community comes together to support the school. In it's fifth year, we are excited to announce a $500,000 goal! All funds raised on Day of Giving support the Collegiate Fund, supporting all aspects of the Collegiate education and experience - from technology, project based learning, musicals and athletics. Every student is directly impacted by gifts made to the Collegiate Fund on this day.
WHY IS YOUR SUPPORT IMPORTANT ON DAY OF GIVING? Whether you give a one time gift, set up a recurring gift or offer a match or challenge gift, your support on Day of Giving is critical to continuing the experience and education our students and faculty have at Norfolk Collegiate. We count on the community to step up and support the school together on March 22.
In the days leading up to the Day of Giving, be sure to look at the following ways to be involved and maximize your support to the school.
โ Create an Account & Become an Advocate (or if you already have one, log in)
- We can only celebrate your hard work if we're able to tell it's you when you're logged into Give Campus!
- Click 'Log In' / 'Sign Up' buttons at the top of the page and create an account from there!
โญ๏ธ Offer a Match (or Challenge)
- As you consider your own donation, leverage your gift and encourage others to give via a match or challenge.
- Consider restricting your match or challenge by your class year, affiliation or your children's class year to raise the stakes.
๐ Share, Share, Share
- In honor of our fifth year, we challenge you to tell five people to tell five more people to join you in supporting Collegiate.
- The built-in sharing buttons on the campaign page generate a link that is unique to you. If you share while you're logged in, we can track it and celebrate your impact!
- Share via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Text Message, Email, Phone Call, Carrier Pigeon… The skyโs the limit!
