At Norfolk Collegiate, we believe that education is more than just academics—it’s about creating the Portrait of an Oak through challenging academics, diverse extracurriculars, a supportive community, and opportunities for personal growth.
It's important that you as a donor know how your gift impacts the school. Here are some real examples of how the Collegiate Fund supports our students and faculty & staff:
- Professional development for our faculty & staff...in the 23-24 school year over 3,000 hours were completed to enrich the student learning experience
- Food for the animals of Collegiate! From Beaker the Bunny to Monty the Python, the Collegiate Fund helps us take care of the unofficial mascots of school
- Field trips...over 100 different field trips were taken by students last year. From the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk to the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. and various Hampton Roads partnerships, our students have been all over!
This is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a way to invest in the future of our students and our school. Together, we can ensure that every student at Norfolk Collegiate succeeds.
