WNYU has been providing quality, alternative, and educational programming to the tri-state area and beyond for almost a century! WNYU also provides students opportunities to hone and explore their crafts while gaining work experience before graduation. Supporting WNYU means supporting these students as well as our local community.
As the role of college radio has expanded, WNYU has worked to fill the community's needs. WNYU not only broadcasts music, sports, news, and podcasts, but also records live sessions, archives over 75 years of music history, hosts concerts and events, and so much more!
All money from this fundraiser will be used to further WNYU's mission of creating educational opportunities for our global community. We will do things like maintain and upgrade our recording and filming equipment to deliver higher quality live sessions and buy supplies to continue to preserve media and documents in our Archives collection. We will also use funds to host events that are free or low-cost to the community, like concerts, events, and panels. Additional funding will also allow us to create and print additional merchandise to give to our community.
