Rogue Aerospace is a student-led, competition-based engineering team offering NYU students the opportunity to design, build, and launch reusable rockets. As a Vertically Integrated Project at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering, we educate and train future aerospace engineers on a variety of skill sets, from mechatronics to computer-aided designs and dynamics simulation software.
After several successful years of competing in the NASA USLI competition and earning multiple awards along the way, Rogue Aerospace is ready for a new challenge. This year, we’re entering the FAR OUT Competition, where we’ll launch NYU and Brooklyn’s first-ever hybrid rocket to a target altitude of 10,000 feet.
This isn't just another launch. It's a major technical leap.
Thanks to your support, we are building more than a rocket, but the next generation!
