NYU Motorsports is a team of dedicated students united in designing, manufacturing, and racing two race cars annually representing our university on a global level in competitions hosted by the SAE International® Collegiate Design Series.
Since its founding in 2016, our team has grown from 10 members to the largest collegiate design team at New York University. We have over 100 members contributing to the SAE series through methods like design, manufacturing, and operations. This upcoming season we are excited to announce that in addition to participating Baja SAE®, we will be introducing our very FIRST Formula Electric Race Car in Formula SAE® Electric against over 120 international collegiate teams in competition.
With your support, we will be able to:
- Build a newly upgraded single-seater off-road competition vehicle for the Maryland 2025 Competition.
- Debut our first high-speed formula electric race car in the New Hampshire 2025 Hybrid + Electric Competition.
