NYU Concrete Canoe is a competitive engineering team that designs and constructs a concrete canoe to compete at a regional and national level, along with thousands of other students across numerous universities from around the world. NYU Concrete Canoe is a premier experiential-learning team that pioneers industry-leading innovations in construction materials and methods, resulting in the world’s first Zero-Cement and Meshless Concrete Canoe.
Every year, we demonstrate our innovations by competing at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Concrete Canoe Competition. We’re 11-time regional Metropolitan Regional Champions and placed 8th overall out of 250+ teams across North America in 2024.
