Why the Conroy Honors College Dean ‘s Excellence Fund? 

The Conroy Honors College is determined to elevate student success, to encourage students to aim higher, and to promote engagement with high impact learning experiences, in and out of the classroom. Our annual book stipend to reward first year CAMP scholars that earned Crimson Scholar status, support for student’s travelling to present their work at conferences, a reception for students to meet with special speakers, and small scholarships to encourage first time overseas travelers to participate in a NMSU approved study abroad experience, are all examples of how these funds are used. Our goal is to ensure that all Honors students have enriched opportunities available and that financial need is not a barrier to student participation!
