Aggie Jumpstart
The NMSU College of Arts and Sciences launched the Aggie Jumpstart Program in 2019 to help incoming students find success throughout their academic careers at our great university. Designed to help students flourish in college-level English and mathematics, the two-week Jumpstart program offers skills enhancement, English and mathematics instruction provided by NMSU faculty, and opportunities to acclimate to the NMSU campus. Through a cohort model, students engage in a co-curricular and residential-based experience prior to the start of the fall semester. All gifts to the Aggie Jumpstart program fund teacher salaries, supplies and space for hands-on learning.
