Jill Schue Cuthbert `93 serves as Co-Department Chair and School Counselor for the New Albany High School Counseling Department, of the New Albany-Plain Local School District. She has been in the education field for the past 27 years, with many years of experience as a classroom science teacher.

“In my position, I have the opportunity to cultivate meaningful relationships with students and their families as they navigate through the four years of high school. Being resourceful and thinking outside the box with them allows me to make a difference in students’ lives and help them reach their personal and educational goals.”

Jill earned her Muskingum Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and her Master of Education degree in School Counseling from the University of Dayton. She is an active leader in her professional field with the National Association of College Admissions Counseling, Ohio Association of College Admissions Counseling, the Ohio School Counseling Association, and the New Albany Neighborhood Bridges Steering Committee.

She and her husband Bret Cuthbert reside in Galloway, Ohio with their children Bret Cuthbert II (14) and Julia Cuthbert (11). Jill is an active member of St. James Lutheran Church in Hilliard, Ohio.
