The Mount Marty University Mission Scholars are dedicated students committed to building a community of disciples, shaping their hearts to align with God’s will through the wisdom of St. Benedict’s tradition. These faith-driven students are carefully selected through an interview process to join the Mission Scholar team.
Guided by Sister Rosie and Father Lacey, Mission Scholars pray the Liturgy of the Hours, engage in spiritual formation and oblate training, and lead retreats and youth nights for local parishes. They also organize meaningful on-campus events for MMU students. Every four years, they embark on a pilgrimage to Italy, tracing the footsteps of St. Benedict.
