Mount Holyoke has one of the oldest intercollegiate basketball programs in the country. Our players are part of a hardworking, committed and caring community of student-athletes who are striving to become one of the top Division III basketball teams in New England.

Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, last year’s Athletics Day of Giving helped us lock in our Puerto Rico training trip for this season — an opportunity that will give our team an important competitive edge while creating an unforgettable experience off the court.

This year, gifts to the Basketball team will build on that momentum and support three key areas:

• Coaching & Individual Development: Fund a dedicated part-time assistant coach to provide position-specific instruction, individual skill development and ongoing support.
• Performance Technology: Invest in advanced player-development and analytics software to provide data-driven feedback and help our athletes gain a competitive edge.
• Culture & Team Bonding: Support intentional team-building experiences and travel opportunities that foster leadership, trust and team chemistry.

Our trip to Puerto Rico will allow our athletes to face diverse competition, adapt to new environments and sharpen their skills on the court. Just as importantly, traveling together will strengthen the trust, resilience and chemistry that are essential to success in conference play. Experiencing a new culture, building independence and creating lifelong memories together will make this much more than a basketball trip.
