Equestrian sports have been a proud tradition at Mount Holyoke College for more than a century.
When students join our program, they become part of a passionate community of student-athletes committed to excellence both in and out of the arena. Last year, with the gifts made during the Athletics Day of Giving, we were able to purchase our sweet mare, Pippa, who has been a wonderful participant and provided many safe and fun lessons for students of all levels. Due to the generosity of donors, we were also able to purchase specific tack for her that helped make her job easier. This year, we hope to purchase another great horse for our program to help us teach our students to love riding.
