Basketball

Mount Holyoke has one of the oldest intercollegiate basketball programs for women in the country. Players entering the program join a hardworking, committed and caring group of scholar-athletes who are striving to become one of the top Division III basketball teams in New England.

Gifts made to the Basketball team on Athletics Day of Giving will directly support team travel for training and help provide essential team gear. Traveling together strengthens the bonds between teammates, helping them grow both on and off the court. Team trips also offer our athletes the chance to experience new cultures, develop crucial life skills in planning and preparation, and cultivate leadership abilities.
