The Missouri S&T Rocket Design Team is a group of students who come together with one goal in mind: launching rockets. Now in our 10th year, we’re doing better than ever. This year, we continued our proud tradition of pushing the bounds of college rocketry, and built two more extraordinary rockets. Our team is proud to introduce to you, Pegasus and Leviathan.
With our solid fuel rocket Pegasus, we’ll set a new team altitude record of 70,000 feet. Built entirely in-house, we’ve combined everything we’ve learned over the past several years and put it all into this rocket. This launch will put us one step closer to getting a rocket into space.
With our liquid fuel rocket Leviathan, we’re building on last year's success and launching our second liquid rocket in two years. With a totally new design, we’re going to show that we can build and launch a new liquid rocket every year, year after year.
This summer, our team will be traveling across the country to the Friends of Amateur Rocketry (FAR) launch site in California and will be launching both of these rockets. We would not be able to do any of these things with the amazing support of our friends, family and donors. Any support from you will help us get closer to launching our rockets and is greatly appreciated by every member on this team!
