Warriors of Stonehenge (WoS) is a student-led organization geared towards supporting Military Science cadets and fostering relationships with the community! This year we are hoping to achieve a dream of ours by sending six military science students to participate in the 41st Army Ten-Miler in October!
The Army’s annual Army Ten-Mile Race and Expo is conducted in our nation’s capital by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington (MDW). Attracting over 35,000 runners and 900 teams from around the world, the Army Ten-Miler (ATM) exemplifies the Spirit of Sport and the Spirit of a Nation. Participants include military, civilians, wheel chair athletes and wounded warrior athletes. ATM’s mission is to support Army outreach, build morale, and promote physical fitness.
Your support will enable us to make the trip from Rolla, Missouri, to Washington D.C, to compete in honor of the Army's 250th Birthday! This is more than just a competition - it's an opportunity for us to challenge ourselves, grow as military leaders, and most importantly honor our brothers and sisters in arms.
Below is an idea of where your support will go as we travel from Rolla, Missouri to Washington D.C to compete in the Army Ten-Miler in October!
- Our rental van will cost $700
- One tank of gas for our rental van will cost $55
- Lodging for our team will cost $650
- Registration for our team will cost $600
Full student's trip will cost $500
Additional funds will be used to offset student's personal cost associated with the travel.
All donations are tax deductible, and sponsors receive updates of the team’s progress. You will receive an email receipt with your donation for tax records.
Thank you for your support!

297 days ago by Breanne WillsonHere's another Runner Spotlight, in honor of the last three days of the campaign.
Meet Joshua Bess (junior in engineering management):
When asked why he wants to compete in the Army Ten-Miler, Joshua said "I want to do the Army Ten-Miler because I love running and exploring new places. I have never been to D.C. so the whole trip will be a great new experience. The race promotes not only support for our military but also our nation. I feel the Army Ten-Miler is important because it brings many people together."
Help us extend our cause, by continuing to share and support our campaign!
300 days ago by Breanne WillsonWith 4 days left in the campaign and plenty of our goal left together, we present you the first Runner Spotlight.
Meet Corey Hubkey (senior in geological engineering):
When asked what he is looking forward to about competing in the Army-Ten Miler Corey said, "The biggest thing I am looking forward to is meeting and competing with current and former military members, other students, and whoever else from across the nation that will be present at the event. I also look forward to exploring our capital and being able to take my experiences back to Missouri S&T so we can participate in more events like this in the future."
Join our efforts to help support Corey and his fellow peers participation in the Army Ten-Miler next month!
