We need your help! This year MSU's Steel Bridge Team is tasked with designing a 21' long bridge that is required to hold 2500 lbs. The main challenge is every piece of the bridge must fit in a 3' x 6" x 4" box so that it can be transported and assembled at competition. This year we are going to use a new type of steel that will provide the same strength as regular steel but it will be significantly lighter. We believe this steel will help provide us with a competitive edge however this comes at an increased production cost. With your help and donations the Steel Bridge Team is able to provide students with great opportunities to learn about engineering design software and get hands on experience in the shop like welding. We appreciate any size donations and are grateful for all your support. We are very excited to compete and see what we can achieve this year!
