Mission:
The MBU Student Benevolence Fund provides financial assistance and resources to students facing unexpected or extenuating circumstances. This fund reflects Christ’s love by supporting students in times of need and is rooted in the values of compassion, stewardship, and community. Inspired by Matthew 25:35–40, we seek to care for students with dignity while helping remove barriers to their academic success.
Fundraising Priorities:
Supporting students facing unexpected financial hardship through assistance such as:
• Access codes and required course materials
• Classroom supplies and academic resources
• Essential items for the Sharing Shop
• Laptops and technology needs
• Transportation assistance to help students get to campus
• Meeting urgent physical and basic needs that create barriers to student success
