Millikin University is proud to launch Women’s Wrestling, marking an exciting new chapter for Big Blue Athletics and a bold investment in one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation.

The foundation for success is already proven. Since its reinstatement in 2015, Millikin Men’s Wrestling has grown into a nationally respected program that has earned several conference championships, produced national champions and continues to set a standard for academic excellence. That same intentional approach will guide the women’s program from day one.

Women’s Wrestling at Millikin will expand opportunities for female student-athletes, strengthen gender equity and attract driven young women who want to compete at a high level while excelling academically and developing as leaders. Early donor support during this inaugural phase is critical and directly impacts recruiting, equipment, travel, and the overall student-athlete experience.
