Millikin’s commitment to Women in Athletics began more than 50 years ago in 1970 – even before the passage of Title IX in 1972. At a time when opportunities for women to compete were limited, Millikin opened doors and helped break the glass ceiling for generations to follow. Today, Millikin celebrates a proud tradition of women who “Wear the Blue,” supporting 13 programs, with Women’s Wrestling and Flag Football set to launch next fall.

Supporting Millikin’s Women in Athletics Fund helps ensure these opportunities continue, strengthening a legacy that empowers women to compete, lead and excel at Millikin.
