On Thursday, April 30, the Millikin University community will come together for the Forever True Blue Challenge — a day dedicated to investing in the next generation of Big Blue alumni by supporting student scholarships. This year, as we celebrate our 125th anniversary, there’s an even greater opportunity to make your gift go further by participating in a match or challenge.
Will YOU help us support the Millikin students of today and tomorrow? Are you FOREVER TRUE BLUE?
Yesterday was an extraordinary day for Millikin University!
This Founders Day, the Millikin University community came together for our Forever True Blue Challenge, and what we witnessed was nothing short of inspiring. Alumni, friends, faculty, staff, parents, and students all played a part in making yesterday something truly special. If you made a gift yesterday — thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity is what makes this university more than a place, and our students wanted to say thank you — and wish their beloved university a very happy 125th birthday.
And here's a little birthday gift of our own: in celebration of Millikin's 125th year, we're keeping the giving portal open for one more week.
Thank you for being part of this community and for being Forever True Blue. Here's to Millikin — yesterday, today, and forever.

All across campus, they are sharing what scholarships have made possible in their lives — the doors opened, the experiences gained and the futures they’re building because someone chose to invest in them.
This is the spirit behind Forever True Blue Challenge Day on April 30 — a community coming together to support the students who make Millikin such a vital force, both on campus and beyond.
One Day.
One Community.
One Powerful Impact.
Forever True Blue.
For alumna Kathy Springer Kuddes ’83, Millikin was more than a place to earn a degree — it was a place that felt like home.
It was where she found mentorship, opportunity and the support that helped shape a lifelong career in music education and leadership. Years later, that experience continues to make an impact, not only through her work, but through her generosity. ![]()
Through an endowed scholarship for Music Education students and programs, Kathy is helping ensure that today’s students have the same opportunities that shaped her journey.
That spirit fuels the Forever True Blue Challenge, bringing the Big Blue community together to support scholarships and extend that impact for generations.
