The much-anticipated return of the Big Blue Wrestling program in the 2015-16 academic year had both outstanding support and outstanding results. The program returned to competition that fall for the first time since the Wrestling program was discontinued in 2008. Since that renewal year, the results included two individual national championships (NCAA Division III in 2022 and NWCA in 2021) and three CCIW Conference Championship titles in 2020, 2021 and 2022. As of early January, the current team was 12-3 on the season. Give today to help this team stay on fire!

A note from Coach Ryan Birt - In the first 9 years of the program being reinstated, Millikin Wrestling has established itself as a powerhouse in both academic and athletic arenas. The program has produced 19 Scholar All-Americans and 34 CCIW Academic All-Conference honorees, reflecting the team's commitment to excellence in the classroom. Athletically, Millikin has captured 21 Individual CCIW Championships, with 4 CCIW Outstanding Wrestlers among its ranks. During this time, the program captured 3 CCIW Team Championships and 4 CCIW Team Runner-up finishes. Millikin Wrestling has also seen significant success on the national stage, boasting 24 National Qualifiers, 20 All-Americans, and 4 National Finalists, including 2 National Champions and 2 NCAA Most Outstanding Wrestlers. Regionally, the team has had 27 place winners, showcasing its depth and competitiveness. Millikin Wrestling has also consistently excelled in team competition at the NCAA National Tournament, with 3 Top 20 finishes and 3 Top 10 finishes. These achievements underscore the program's athletic dominance, academic excellence, and strong emphasis on individual growth.
