Volleyball

Since its first season in 1975, the Big Blue Women’s Volleyball program has accomplished great things including, but not limited to, 13 Athletic Hall of Fame members and seven CCIW Conference Championship titles. In 2024, the team advanced to Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division III Championships before falling to the top-seeded host. The team finished with a 31-6 season that year, received a No. 10 national ranking and four players were named CSC Academic All-District. A note from Coach Whitney Nichols - Millikin Volleyball just wrapped an exciting 2024 fall season where we had a sweet, sweet finish. With a 31-6 record, MUVB ended their season in the Sweet 16 all while competing in the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championships. With such a memorable year, Millikin Volleyball received the #10 ranking in the country to round out the year. With 429 teams within D3 Volleyball, to finish out at #10 was pretty impeccable. The future is looking bright for the Big Blue. Donor support is rather significant in the land of Division III Women's Volleyball. With expressed support, Millikin Volleyball can be driven to new heights such as covering certain expenses throughout the program itself, providing new yet exciting features that not only benefit the volleyball program but Millikin University.
