Tennis has a long history at Millikin. Big Blue Men’s Tennis started in 1912, and the Millikin Women’s Tennis program reaches back to 1916, when what is described as the oldest continuous women’s intercollegiate tennis tournaments in the country was started. The tournament is now held each fall and is named the Dorothy McClure Tournament in memory of the only physical education teacher for women from 1936 to 1966. Help us celebrate this longstanding tradition of Millikin Tennis by giving today!
A note from Coach Reiss Naylor - Donor support goes towards necessities for our athletes such as indoor practice memberships for the winter, balls, strings, grips, and necessities for player development. We are entering the spring season for the men's conference schedule as well as a spring break trip to Hilton Head, SC to participate in a large collegiate tournament, with both men and women CCIW conference tournaments at the end of the year.
