Competitive cheerleading doesn’t just rouse the Big Blue teams to excel and the fans to cheer their best. It also is a recognized sport that teaches these student-athletes life skills such as discipline, teamwork, endurance, confidence and physical strength. Most recently, the team is planning to compete in April at the College Cheerleading Nations for the fifth straight year.

A note from Coach Sarah Rapp - Donor support is huge for Millikin Cheerleading. Cheerleading is a very expensive sport and donations help alleviate the financial burden that is put on the athletes for camp, competitions, uniforms, and travel fees. Millikin Cheerleading will be competing at College Cheerleading Nationals in April 2025. This is the 5th year that Millikin has qualified for the National competition and their 4th time competing.
