Midland University's nursing program offers a personalized and comprehensive approach to education. Program highlights from the 2023-2024 academic year:
- Accreditation: The program maintained its accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
- Student Achievement: Midland University senior Zoey Carrico was awarded the NSNA Nebraska Student Nurse of the Year.
- Simulation Lab Enhancement: A grant from the Nebraska Hospital Association funded the purchase of two new high-fidelity simulation manikins.
- Clinical Experiences: Students gained experience at 15 different clinical sites.
- Faculty Alumni: 43% of full-time nursing faculty are alumni of the program.
- Clinical Site: The program served as a clinical site for a Master's in Nursing Education student.
