Pioneer Women's Basketball is preparing for another winning season this winter! Funds raised through this year's Champions Challenge will focus on giving our Women's Basketball team the ultimate student-athlete experience. We're excited for the ways your gifts will support much-needed gear, travel, and team bonding activities.
This year the Pioneer Athletic Association has offered two matching gifts to teams raising $2,500! The 48-hour Challenge requires us to raise our first $1,250 by 5 p.m. Thursday, September 28th and will award us $250 toward our goal. The Finish Line Challenge offers an additional $500 if we reach our goal before the campaign ends on October 23rd.

Champions Challenge officially begins today and we’re already off to a great start! All twelve teams have launched their projects, and many have already surpassed their halfway point! This success has inspired three new challenge gifts to boost the competition.
- The Alumni Challenge will award $500 to the team that earns support from the greatest number of alumni. In case of a tie, funds will be split between teams.
- The Competitor Challenge will award $500 to the team that has the highest percentage of student-athletes and coaches who secure a gift for their program. In case of a tie, the average number of gifts per student will be taken into consideration.
- The Advocate Challenge will award $500 on behalf of the Pioneer (student, staff, parent, friend, or alumni) who inspires the most gifts. The winner will choose the team worthy of their support.
