Precision Flight Team
The MSU Denver Precision Flight Team is a group of men and women dedicated to becoming safe and professional pilots. Each semester, students prepare for a regional or national SAFECON: a competition put on by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA).

The competition is a unique experience for young pilots who want to take advantage of the opportunity. During competition students are tested on their knowledge, skill level, and safety awareness. Competition events vary from flight planning to demonstrating your ability to land an aircraft on a specific point on the runway. This year, the team qualified for Nationals by placing third in our region!

Your Support
MSU Denver Precision Flight Team needs your support! When you make a gift to our team you are helping enhance the collegiate experience for our members. Your donations today will be used to send our entire team to the National NIFA Event in Janesville, WI during the third week of May. Your support will cover our aircraft costs, fuel to get to and from Wisconsin, commercial airline expenses for the majority of the team, hotel expenses, van rentals, and food and beverage expenses.

The MSU Denver Precision Flight Team was recognized at the 2018 SAFECON regional banquet. Our third-place regional finish secured a spot for the team in the National NIFA Event.

We're ecstatic to announce our initial goal of $5,000 dollars has been met! However, we will continue accepting donations, and we're updating the funding page to accommodate a higher goal.
