Women in Focus: The 1,000 Women Challenge

1,000 Women. One Shared Purpose. $10 Million for Mercersburg.

In March, we invited you to be part of a meaningful and heartfelt movement at Mercersburg Academy. As part of the With Full Hearts campaign, we launched the Women in Focus: 1,000 Women Challenge, a bold initiative to unite 1,000 women+* to collectively unlock $10 million for our campus.

And we did it! Together, the Mercersburg community has reached the 1,000 women donor milestone as part of the With Full Hearts campaign.

But why stop at 1,000? We're now excited to see how far we can go!

Our goal with each gift and each donor is to strengthen our dining hall as the heart of our campus and ensure that everyone who gathers is welcomed with care and compassion. In honor of this collective effort, the renovated space will be known as Alumnae Commons at Ford Hall—a place rooted in connection and where all current and future students have a seat at the table.

How it Works

• The Milestone: We’ve reached 1,000 women donors from the Mercersburg community.
• The Continued Momentum: Every additional donor helps us build on this incredible achievement and strengthen the impact of this collective effort.
• Equal Recognition: Every donor will be recognized equally as a founding supporter of the Alumnae Commons.
• The Timeline: Counting begins March 27, 2026, and runs through October 9, 2026 (International Women’s Day).
