Author J.K. Rowling said it best, “a good first impression can work wonders”, and this has never been more true than in the current collegiate athletic landscape. First impressions are everything, and getting off on the right foot with guests, recruits and their families is imperative. The Mercer Athletic Foundation’s “First Impressions” challenge will transform the visitor and recruiting experiences for guests of Mercer Athletics.
The project will include:
- The Champions Garden – transforming outdoor green space into a talking point and meeting place for coaching staffs and families.
- Athletic Department Lobby and Hallway Redesign – powerful graphics, cutting edge trophy displays and updated lighting will rebrand common spaces used by every athletic program.
- Digital Hall of Fame/Archives – 44-inch interactive touchscreen kiosk to highlight the storied history of Mercer Athletics.
Our goal is to shine a light on the academic and athletic achievements, as well as the atmosphere, that sets Mercer University apart from the competition. Every dollar raised through this campaign will help us in achieving that goal and bring the athletic offices a renovated look.
