The Class of 2022, like all classes before us and those to come after, has been supported by the generosity of donors -- alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and even fellow students to enhance our education. They've donated to things that we've all benefited from like financial aid, scholarships, campus programing, career services, diversity and inclusion initiatives, the student emergency fund, and the Fund for McDaniel -- where dollars meet the most urgent needs of students like us.
Now it's our turn. Let's join together to reach (and hopefully surpass!) 75 donors from our class before we graduate. Every gift of any amount truly does make a difference.
Even more reason to give: every senior who contributes to the Class of '22 Gift will be able to cast a vote for the movie to be shown at Senior Movie Night at Gill Stadium! Will you be watching Jungle Cruise 🐊, Cruella 🐶, Free Guy 🔥, Ready Player One 🏎, or Black Widow 🕷?
We encourage you to give to something that you care about. Pick a cause (or several causes!) that made your experience at McDaniel College better, or that you want to help be better in the future!
Where do you want to make a difference? Here are four ideas:
💚 The Fund for McDaniel: Your gift will be used to provide financial aid, support academic programs, and invest in the resources that help students complete their degree programs.
⛑ The Emergency Relief Fund: This fund was created in 2020 in response to the global pandemic, to help students transition to virtual/remote learning. Today, the fund is used to make sure students have the support and resources they need to continue their education through times of crisis.
💌 The WMC Student Aid Fund: This fund is supported by WMC and McDaniel College alumni to provide scholarship support to every McDaniel student, regardless of class or financial need.
🎓 The Senior Pride Annual Scholarship Fund allows graduating seniors an opportunity to support a student(s) in the upcoming senior class. It will be awarded to a returning student entering their senior year. Preference will be given to a senior who is active in the McDaniel community.
