This year, we have seen the power of our Green Terror community. We have united and persevered during difficult times. Like so many others, students and their families are facing numerous challenges including job loss, financial hardships, and uncertainty. On I Love the Hill Day, let's come together once again in support of McDaniel students to ensure that financial difficulties do not get in the way of their dreams.
Our goal is simple - to see 725 (or more!) donors come together in just one day to support areas of greatest need at McDaniel. This includes financial aid, classroom technology, faculty support—and the resources we need to keep our students safe.
Your gift can go even further with special fundraising challenges and matches throughout the day. Love the Hill? Join others who do too! After you have made your gift, help us spread the word!
Around 5pm, we surpassed $100,000 raised to support McDaniel College students!
To celebrate our collective success, we have two active opportunities that could provide an additional $15,000 boost.
Trustee Barbara Thomas '70 is raising a glass to I Love The Hill Day: from now until 8pm EST, she will be doubling your gifts dollar-for dollar up to $5,000.
Trustee Don Rembert '61 & Judy Rembert '60 are also keeping the party lively by offering an additional $5,000 gift if we raise a total of $110,000 before midnight.
And, an anonymous donor will chip in another $5,000 if another 25 donors (at the time of writing) make a donation of any amount before midnight.

And we're just getting started! Let's keep this momentum to get us to 725 donors. We've already unlocked an additional $10,000 for hitting over 300 donors. Now an anonymous alum has another challenge for us: If we can hit 500 donors, we will unlock another $5,000!

As of 11:15am EST, we are already 1/3 of our way to hitting our goal of 725 donors and almost halfway to our goal of $100,000 raised for McDaniel students before the end of the day!
There are many active matches and challenges, including an additional $10,000 gift if our campaign gets another 45 donors. If you've already given, have some fun with our Ambassador Toolkit and share the campaign using your personal link found on the Advocate tab (or at the bottom of the campaign page). If you haven't given yet, I hope you'll join the fun and watch your generosity multiply.
