About

The FASQA award was created to recognize student achievement and contributions to the LGBTQIAP community. Two prizes are awarded yearly, one to a student who demonstrated financial need and another to a student involved with and/or commitment to the LGBTQIAP community and issues.

MICA's Faculty and Staff Queer Alliance serve in a mentor capacity to the students and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer LGBTQIAP community at MICA. FASQA's goals include outreach, awareness, advocacy, and LGBTQ+ support. Thank you for your contributions to the FASQA Award during Make Your Mark!
