An anonymous donor will match gifts to the Bo and Candy Ellis Student Success Fund, $10 for $1, up to $100,000.
The Bo and Candy Ellis Student Success Fund supports students in the Urban Scholars Program and Educational Opportunity Program. The fund helps cover expenses for emergency needs, stemming from unanticipated events or loss, including funding for transportation to interviews, passport fees related to study abroad, travel emergencies, equipment needs, food and other items to enhance the experience of students in these programs.

An anonymous alumni family will contribute $1,000,000 to Marquette once we reach 1881 donors.
The donors are excited to enhance professional development opportunities for students to engage with employers, participate in seminars focused on career discernment, travel for opportunities around internships and co-ops and benefit from one-on-one career counseling meetings through the Opus College of Engineering’s Industry Relations office.

Mary Ellen, Arts ’78, and Scott, Arts ’77, Dent ’82, Stanek, will donate $50,000 to support the Lovell Scholars in memory of Dr. Mike Lovell when we receive a gift from a donor in each of the 50 states – $1,000 for each state.

Chuck and Karen will support the Men’s Basketball Excellence Fund, which provides the team with critical resources, ensuring its sustainability as one of the top basketball programs in the nation.
