Welcome to the 2022-23 Marist Rowing Red Fox Navy Campaign!

Marist Women's Rowing is once again excited to welcome you to join our Red Fox Navy! After enjoying a productive and successful fall season on the river we are currently on our break for the holidays and remain busy recruiting and preparing for our winter training trip to Florida.

The team’s successes are directly attributable to its never-ending hard work along with the ongoing support of our loyal alumnae, families and friends. We are once again thrilled about the current group of strong, talented, hardworking women with whom we work every day as we prepare for the upcoming spring season. We are seeking your continued support of these women through your Red Fox Navy membership. Our annual rowing fundraising campaign seeks to supplement our institutional budgets established for equipment upkeep/upgrades and travel expenses. Last year, the additional support of The Red Fox Navy enabled us to take two crews out to the San Diego Crew Classic, a first for the women’s program! Additionally, we were able to purchase a new Vespoli VHP 8 in which our varsity crew raced throughout the spring and will again this coming spring.

Our target for this year’s fundraising is to surpass $30,000.00 while increasing our number of contributors. Our plan is to sell two of our older 4s and purchase two new 4s which would complete our 4s fleet with comparable and super-fast hulls.

Our Red Fox Navy Campaign is the same format again for this season. Those seeking to be members of the Navy should donate $20 for each year since you graduated from Marist up to $300.00. For 2023 and moving forward, we have added some higher giving levels for those of you seeking fresh honors and hoping to help take the team to new heights. Please see the list below for details.

NEW FOR 2023!

The Red Fox Navy is introducing new giving levels with rankings which will be listed on our website. The following ranks apply:

Red Fox Navy Member = $20 for each year since graduation up to $300, Friends and family of the team qualify with gifts of $100 or more

Lieutenant = Single Donation of $500-999 OR Donated 5 + years in a row to the Red Fox Navy

Commander = Single Donation of $1000-4999 OR Donated 10 + years in a row to the Red Fox Navy

Captain = Single Donation of $5000-9999 OR Donated 15 + years in a row to the Red Fox Navy

Admiral = Single Donation of $10,000 OR Donated 20 + years in a row to the Red Fox Navy

Commodore = A special commendation earned through the joint nomination of the Coaches, Athletics, Administrators, Advancement Office, and Red Fox Navy Leadership. Commodore status can be earned through exceptional leadership, exceptional financial support, or exceptional service to the team, team members or alumni.
