The economic impact of the COVID-19 crisis has directly affected many Marist families, leaving some to wonder if their student will be able to continue at Marist.
To help address this unprecedented financial challenge, a member of Marist’s Board of Trustees who wishes to remain anonymous has generously pledged $100,000 to establish an emergency fund. The fund will provide one-time grants for returning undergraduate students whose families have been hardest hit by this crisis. The College is enormously grateful for this thoughtful and impactful gift and has directed additional institutional resources toward this fund to bolster its impact.
Still, additional philanthropic support is needed to make their return to Marist a reality. To fulfill this worthy goal and help these deserving young men and women realize their dream of a Marist education, we respectfully invite all alumni, parents, and friends to consider supporting this vital fundraising effort.
The Marist community has a long history of supporting its most vulnerable members in times of crisis, and these circumstances are unlike any we have faced in the past. Let’s join together in an effort to double the impact of this generous pledge. With your help, we can get there. Every gift, regardless of its size, will make a difference in this important initiative.
Thank you for your consideration, stay safe, and be Marist Strong!
