10th Annual Day of Giving:
10 Friends. 10 Gifts. 10 Years Strong.
On February 12, 2026—Founders Day (observed)—Pioneers everywhere will come together for Marietta College’s 10th Annual Day of Giving, celebrating a decade of generosity, Pioneer pride, and the legacy of The Long Blue Line.
This year, we introduce a new way to spark momentum:
10 Friends. 10 Gifts. 10 Years Strong.
Participating is easy:
- Make a gift of any amount
- Invite 10 fellow Pioneers to join you in giving AND encourage them to invite 10 more.
- Share why #MCgives on your social networks
This powerful chain of engagement fuels the collective spirit that has defined our Day of Giving for ten years—and helps us unlock the Trustee Challenge once again.
EVERY GIFT. EVERY PIONEER. EVERY YEAR.
Together, we have More History to Make.
The Marietta Fund: Turning Generosity into Impact
Your support of The Marietta Fund creates immediate impact for today’s students. It strengthens academics, expands learning opportunities, sustains athletics, and provides crucial financial aid.
You can direct your Marietta Fund gift to one of four priority areas: Student Priorities, Student Aid, Pioneer Club, or Women in Sports—ensuring your generosity goes where it matters most.
Unlock the Trustee Challenge
Every donor brings us one step closer to unlocking the Trustee Challenge. When 1,000 donors make a gift on February 12, the challenge is activated—doubling the impact of every contribution.
With 100% participation from the Board of Trustees, they have combined to make a collective gift of $287,596 in support of this milestone moment.
Celebrate a Decade of Impact
By giving on Founders Day, you’re honoring 10 years of collective generosity while pushing the tradition forward.
There’s more history to make, more students to support, and more impact ahead.
Join us on today and help strengthen The Long Blue Line for the next generation of Pioneers.

Shayna Allshouse, Student Body President at Marietta College, shares a heartfelt thank you to the entire Long Blue Line for making the 10th Annual Day of Giving truly unforgettable.
This year’s theme — 10 Friends. 10 Gifts. 10 Years Strong. — came to life as Pioneers around the world came together in support of scholarships, programs, and transformative student experiences.

As Marietta College celebrates its 10th Annual Day of Giving on February 12, alumnus Jack Hopkins ’65 reflects on the relationships, mentors, and experiences that shaped his life — and why giving back keeps the Long Blue Line strong.
Arriving on campus in 1961 with “no clue” what he wanted to do, Jack found guidance in faculty, friendships, and a community that believed in him. Those formative years launched a distinguished career in philanthropy and higher education leadership — and ultimately inspired him to help launch Marietta’s Day of Giving initiative in 2016.
Now, a decade later, he continues to champion alumni engagement and the power of participation at every level.
This year’s theme:
Ten Friends. Ten Gifts. Ten Years Strong.
Every gift — no matter the size — supports scholarships, programs, and experiences that shape today’s Pioneers and strengthen Marietta’s future.
