About GTMDs

Provide students with opportunities for growth outside the classroom – from arts performances to career development workshops to maker lessons in the Idea Lab – that make the Macalester experience special. Choose Program Support when you make your gift or choose to support a specific program by selecting "Other" and writing the name of the program in the text box.

The Center for Religious and Spiritual Life: We affirm that our global community holds diverse wisdom about the sacred. At Macalester, we explore wholeness, belonging, and purpose - with curiosity - as we orient ourselves towards experiences of wonder and joy. Your gift will support our work to co-create communities that support the inner life through reflection, practice, learning together, and building authentic relationships with ourselves and others.

The Lealtad-Suzuki Center for Social Justice: The LSC works in collaboration with Macalester students to build a transformative community. We do this through learning, reflection, engaging in dialogue, and action. Among other outcomes, LSC programs develop our community's ability to utilize critical dialogue skills and tools to engage in complex and meaningful conversations.

Title IX and Non-Discrimination Office: Macalester College is committed to fostering an accessible, respectful, and inclusive environment that supports our community members. The work of the Title IX Office and Non-Discrimination Office is bolstered by several faculty, staff, and student members serving in different roles. Your gift ensures that we continue to provide this vital support to all Macalester students, faculty, staff, and guests.

Community Engagement Center: The Community Engagement Center fosters collaborative problem-solving by prioritizing community knowledge and empowerment. It recognizes the impact of historical injustices in shaping educational systems and aims to bridge power imbalances through critical community engagement. By emphasizing deep, long-term relationships both on and off campus, it seeks to nurture trust and advance shared priorities for transformative change.
