Rugby - Women

The Macalester Women’s* Rugby Team (*gender-inclusive) is a hallmark of the Macalester campus. In our blaze orange hoodies, our community can be seen across the Great Lawn and beyond. Since our club began, we have prided ourselves on our inclusivity and our loving, supportive team culture, and your gift helps us continue to bring players into this community. Last year, the Northern Lights Small College Rugby Conference split into two divisions: developmental and competitive. Mac Women’s* Rugby made the decision to join the competitive division in order to grow our program at a higher level, leading to a successful Fall 2023 season with lots of rookies learning the game and absolutely killing it in competition.

We will use your gifts to make rugby accessible for all of our players, covering the costs of equipment and subsidizing the cost of registration with National Collegiate Rugby. We are trying to increase team competitiveness and travel around the Midwest, so your gift will also help fund overnight trips and transportation. We appreciate your support!
