Ice Hockey - Men

Friends of Macalester Men’s Club Hockey, another successful year of hockey is in the books. The team has continued its tradition of providing an inclusive and welcoming space for people of all backgrounds that are interested in playing ice hockey. This year we had a couple of terrific moments we would like to share. In front of hundreds of supporters, we played in the second annual Hands of Time Cup, which raised over $6,000 for the Hendrickson Foundation. The Hendrickson foundation is a non-profit which raises money for people with disabilities to play hockey in inclusive spaces. Each year we have gotten a bigger crowd, more media attention, and greater support from the directors of the foundation. Other highlights include: a double header clash with Carleton, a 7-6 overtime victory against the loons, and an epic student vs staff game.
