Gifts to Club Soccer contribute to...
Macalester has always been a hub for soccer lovers from all over the world. This year, Club Soccer was founded to provide an organized and more competitive space for us to play the beautiful game. We have close to 30 players with representatives from over 15 countries. We started our journey off with an electric 2-1 win over Carleton and continue to practice either 3 or 4 times a week to build on that success. Our team makes a point of welcoming new members as we are friends first and teammates second. We always encourage all soccer lovers to come out and play, or to at least give the sport a go. In order to continue our success we are asking for funds to cover travel and equipment costs, and the creation of merchandise for ourselves, and our friends and families. In addition, if we generate enough funds we will film games next year so everyone can watch our journey.
