Gifts to Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry Program 2026 contribute to...

Undergraduate research opportunities provide valuable experience for students to gain job skills, especially discipline-specific skills. Working with a mentor provides them with support as they navigate college as well as the job market. Undergraduate research has been shown to increase retention and raise graduation rates. The Undergraduate Research Mini-Grant Program provides funding for students from across all disciplines to purchase research supplies to support their work with a research mentor. The program funds 25 students, and we often receive more applications than we can fund. This would allow us to fund an additional five research projects.
