Gifts to MSU Denver Vertical Mile Climb Challenge 2026 contribute to...

🎉We hit our goal🎉
UPDATE: We’ve hit our goal, but you can keep giving! All money raised over the goal will go into the same grant—all directly to students. These additional funds will allow us to expand our reach and support more Roadrunners completing their degrees. Thank you for your generous support!
On March 19, Meredith Jeffers (Executive Director of University Strategy) and Martina Felderman (Executive Leadership Coach and Founder of Leadership Ascent) will each attempt to climb a vertical mile — 5,280 feet, roughly 125 routes — in a single day at Movement Golden.
That’s the equivalent of climbing nearly three times the height of Taipei 101.
They’re taking on this challenge in support of MSU Denver students who are just one financial barrier away from continuing their education.
This effort benefits the Roadrunner Grant, which provides one-time assistance to students facing unexpected financial holds that prevent them from registering for the next term. Often, the gap is small — but the impact is enormous.
Your gift does more than cheer on the climbers.
It directly removes a barrier. It clears a hold. It allows a student to stay enrolled and move one step closer to graduation.
Your Support
By making a gift in recognition of this climb, you are helping students rise — one route, one term, one degree at a time.
Both climbers are working toward completing a full vertical mile. Want to pledge an additional gift if one or both reach 5,280 feet? You can. We’ll follow up with an opportunity to celebrate their achievement with an added gift.
Every contribution strengthens our ability to support students who simply need a lift to reach the finish line.
Thank you for turning this bold challenge into real momentum for MSU Denver students.
